Mushroom Picking

At the peak of the rainy season, hundreds of different colored mushrooms emerge from the forest ground. Join us on a mushroom picking, in which we will select all edible varieties, in different sizes, textures and colors. Then we will visit a local fair where we can try dozens of different styles of preparation for this local dish. We will end the day by visiting a mushroom farm sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), which supports the local community and is aimed at conserving the surrounding forest (home to Monarch Butterflies in winter).
