Celebrations
The profession of a celebrant consists of co-designing (together with their clients) ceremonies, rituals and celebrations that reflect the tastes, values and beliefs of those celebrated.
The Celebrant has been instructed in the anthropological roots of ceremonies, knows the ideal structure of different rituals, is familiar with elements of celebrations from many cultures and, above all, masters the methodology to ask his clients the pertinent questions that lead to designing and officiating a memorable celebration.
For a celebrant, celebrations are truly a passion.
For a celebrant, celebrations are truly a passion. They spend months of training, learning everything from the fundamentals of rituals and ceremonies to public ceremonial speaking to become a certified celebrant. They study the traditions of different cultures, beliefs and religions, giving them the ability to tailor each ceremony to fit the couple the ceremony is being created for. Because they are able to carry out a ceremony that reflects the beliefs and lifestyle of the person(s) being celebrated, their services are also ideal for interfaith, intercultural and same-sex weddings.
