Live nature!

Agua Blanca is proud to be an excellent option for those looking for ecotourism in Mexico. Agua Blanca is immersed in exhuberant sub-tropical nature. All rooms have views of the lush gardens.

The pools have thermo-mineral waters and come out at a pleasant 88°F.

Agua Blanca is located in the Jungapeo ravine. In Jungapeo we enjoy two climatic zones that coexist. In a microclimate, one being sub-tropical that produces vegetation such as palm trees, citrus fruits, coffee and bananas and another being semi-arid, which gives us cacti and succulents and all types. This unique climate also allows us to observe all types of animals that, due to the almost virgin location, are still very protected.

Agua Blanca:

Ecotourism in Mexico

«Ecotourism or ecological tourism is a tourist activity which purpose is to minimize the amount of damage that tourists can cause to the natural environment. It is a type of tourism closely related to ethics that goes beyond the mere enjoyment of the traveler.

The objective is for the tourist to learn, through observation of the ecosystems, to appreciate the nature that surrounds them and the traditional cultures of said natural area.

The definition of ecotourism according to the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) refers to its purpose, principles, elements that comprise it, its objectives and the benefits it provides.» *

At Agua Blanca, we focus a lot on environmental education, offering different elements such as solar panels, recycling center, farm, semi-self-sustainable system, exhibitions on Biophilia, among others.
